Cuba's Ambassador to Kenya, Inés Fors Fernández, met the Hon Musalia W Mudavadi, Prime Cabinet Secretary and Cabinet Secretary for Foreign & Diaspora Affairs of the Republic of Kenya.
Bilateral matters were discussed, including the exchange of views on expanding the longstanding relationship between Cuba and Kenya.
During the meeting, the Kenyan Minister expressed “Kenya and Cuba share a rich history of cooperation especially in healthcare, education, and technical exchange. There’s immense potential to build on this foundation for the shared benefit of our citizens. Kenya remains committed to nurturing its enduring friendship with Cuba as we work together toward sustainable growth and shared progress”.
The Cuban Ambassador reiterated the gratitude of the Cuban people and government for Kenya's support in the struggle Cuba is waging for ending the economic, commercial, and financial blockade imposed by the U.S.
