In farewell meeting Cuban Ambassador with Minister of Infrastructure of the Federation of Saint Kitts and Nevis
Basseterre, October 13, 2025- The Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba in Saint Kitts and Nevis, David Rivero Pérez, was received on a farewell visit by the Minister of Public Infrastructure, Energy and Utilities, Domestic Transport, Information, Communication and Technology and Posts of the Federation, Honorable Konris Maynard.
The meeting, held in a friendly atmosphere, allowed for the exchange of views on the excellent relations of friendship and cooperation that exist between both countries and the good prospects for their continued development. Likewise, they reviewed the good state of current cooperation in Infrastructure, with the assistance of a brigade from UNECA S.A since November 2024.
The Cuban diplomat took the opportunity to thank for all the support received in the fulfillment of his mission during these almost 4 years in this friendly country and reiterated the will of his government to continue progressing in strengthening the ties that unite both nations.
Maynard, for his part, expressed his gratitude to the Ambassador for the efforts made to develop bilateral relations.
Also present at the meeting was the Permanent Secretary of Public Infrastructure, Daryll R. Lloyd.
