Solidarity groups and Cuban residents welcome the new Cuban Ambassador to Saint Kitts and Nevis

Basseterre, Saint Kitts and Nevis. On Saturday, the Cuban Embassy in Saint Kitts and Nevis welcomed representatives from the Cuban Alumni Association, the Solidarity Association, and Cuban residents in the Federation of Saint Kitts and Nevis.

Ambassador Giuvel Orozco Ortega thanked Her Excellency Ms. Verna Mills, Ambassador of Saint Kitts and Nevis in Havana, whose work has been important in continuing to strengthen bilateral relations.

The Cuban diplomat took the opportunity to thank for all the support received in the fulfillment of his mission during these almost 4 years in this friendly country and reiterated the will of his government to continue progressing in strengthening the ties that unite both nations.

The Cuban Ambassador to Liberia, Dr. Indira López Argüelles, paid a courtesy visit to the Ministry of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Liberia.

At the headquarters, she was received by the Minister, Honorable Magdalene Ellen Dagoseh, who reiterated her gratitude to the Cuban doctors who fought against Ebola and the offer of scholarships for young Liberians. She also expressed her hope for the strengthening of trade and South-South cooperation.

The year 2024 represented a significant period for the Embassy of Cuba in the United Kingdom, marked by progress in various areas, highlighting the commitment to strengthen bilateral relations, strengthen ties with the Cuban resident community, promote solidarity towards our country, disseminate the Cuban cultural wealth and promote economic, commercial and tourism opportunities. Through a broad and dynamic agenda, the Embassy built bridges of cooperation that generated positive impacts in multiple spheres.

Premier of Nevis receives Ambassador of Cuba on a working visit.

On this Monday morning, the Premier of Nevis, Honorable Mark Brantley held a warm meeting with the Cuban Ambassador David Rivero Pérez who was accompanied by Dr. Odalis Abreu Guirado, Head of the Cuban Medical Brigade, on a work visit to this island. Once again, the Honorable Brantley conveyed to the visitors his condemnation of the unjust blockade imposed by the United States Government on Cuba as well as his gratitude to the Greater Antilles for its contribution in the health and education sectors.

New health cooperators join the Cuban Medical Brigade in Saint Kitts and Nevis

Two new health cooperators from #Cuba arrived in St Kitts this weekend to join the Medical Brigade that has been providing its services in this Federation for more than two decades. With these new additions there are 16 professionals who, with a humanistic vocation and unwavering commitment, continue to give life to this sister Caribbean nation.

Cuban Deputy Prime Minister meets with his counterpart from St. Kitts and Nevis

As part of the visit to Saint Kitts and Nevis of the Cuban Deputy Prime Minister Jorge Luis Perdomo Di-Lella, a cordial meeting was held with his local counterpart, the Honourable Dr. Geoffrey Hanley at the headquarters of the Cuban Embassy.

The meeting, held in a friendly atmosphere, was conducive to verifying the good state of relations between the two nations and the mutual interest in strengthening existing ties.
