The Honorable Mr. Foday E.K. Fahnbulleh, Chairman of the Investment Committee of the Liberian Senate, paid a visit to the Cuban Embassy in Monrovia.
Mr. Fahnbulleh discussed Liberia's economic and investment attraction policies and the priorities identified by the Committee for South-South cooperation, particularly joint efforts between the two countries.
The Cuban Ambassador, Dr. Indira López Arguelles, presented the parliamentarian with some of the most significant advances in Cuban biotechnology and medicine, upcoming trade and economic events to be held on the island, such as the Havana International Fair, and outlined the various forms of Cuban cooperation.
Mr. Fahnbulleh also received a copy of the report detailing the damage caused by the cruel and illegal blockade against Cuba, as well as an update on the regional situation in the Caribbean.
