Oslo, January 31st. 2024. With great joy the Ambassador, Maité RIvero Torres, and the Second Secretary of the Embassy in charge of Consular Affairs,Daffne Ernesto Mirabal García, bid farewell to Ángela Rosa Herrera Trocones, a young Norwegian who will soon leave for Cuba to study Medicine at the University of Medical Sciences of the province of Sancti Spíritus under the self-financed programme.
Angela is the daughter of Milagros Trocones Sotolongo, a Cuban who has lived in Norway for years.
The Cuban diplomats wished her success in the studies and a pleasant stay in Cuba.
"It was good to see her with a lot of interest and enthusiasm. We hope that she achieves her dream of becoming an excellent doctor and dedicating herself to the noble task of saving lives", the Ambassador said. (Embassy of Cuba in Norway)
