The Federation of World Culture and Arts Society (Singapore) signed the "World Peace for Children's Day" initiative, under the slogan "Culture Only, No to War," as part of the celebration of International Children's Day. It also officially endorsed the United Nations Universal Declaration of Peace, which calls for initiatives to promote a culture of peace and protect the rights and dignity of children.
During the event, Cuba's work in defending and respecting children's rights and promoting peace was recognized, and the country was awarded a special commemorative medal.
In her remarks, Ambassador Lisbet Quesada expressed her gratitude for the gesture and acknowledged the significance of this initiative, given the increase in unjustified aggression against sovereign and independent countries, which profoundly affects the peace and security of children.
The World Federation of Literary and Artistic Circles (Singapore) was founded by Grand Master Jason Tan Beng Sian in 2018. Its objective is to strengthen ties between cultural and artistic organizations worldwide and to promote Chinese culture and art globally from Singapore.
