Felicitation for the 66th anniversary of the Cuban Revolution

Dear Mr. President and the People of Cuba,
On behalf of the Cuban Alumni Association of Sri Lanka, it is our honor to extend heartfelt felicitations on the 66th anniversary of Cuba's independence. This historic milestone is a testament to the resilience and unity of the Cuban people, whose unwavering spirit has inspired nations worldwide.

We recall with profound respect the monumental sacrifices made during the Revolution by Fidel Castro, Ernesto "Che" Guevara, Raúl Castro, and their comrades. The courage and vision they embodied have left an indelible legacy, steering Cuba towards sovereignty and social justice. The ensuing Special Period, though arduous, showcased the fortitude of the Cuban people who, despite immense hardships, upheld their dignity and values.

Today, as Cuba confronts economic challenges exacerbated by the unjust blockade, we have unwavering faith in the resolve of your people to overcome these adversities, just as you have done in the past. We stand in solidarity with you, offering support and hope that these challenges will soon come to an end.
May the future bring prosperity and peace to Cuba. Happy Independence Day!
In solidarity and admiration, Cuban Alumni Association of Sri Lanka
