Castries, August 6, 2025—The Cuban Ambassador to Saint Lucia, Yenielys Vilma Regueiferos Linares, held a moving meeting with former Prime Minister, friend of Cuba, and parliamentarian Dr. Kenneth "Kenny" Davis Anthony.
Beautiful and uplifting were the anecdotes about the former Prime Minister's experiences with our eternal leader, Fidel Castro, architect of collaboration programs with the Caribbean and a great friend of great leaders in the region.
The fruitful work on the island of health and sports collaborators and Saint Lucians who graduated in Cuba were also topics of interest during the pleasant exchange, in which friendship between two sister countries prevailed.
Kenneth "Kenny" Davis Anthony was Prime Minister of Saint Lucia from 1997 to 2006 and again from 2011 to 2016. He was the fifth Saint Lucian to hold the highest office in the country since independence from the United Kingdom.
