Stockholm, August 13, 2023 - The Cuban Embassy in Sweden was filled with emotion and nostalgia when commemorating the 97th birthday of Commander Fidel Castro. In the meeting held to commemorate another year of the birth of our eternal leader Fidel, Cubans residing in Sweden and friends committed to Cuba came together to honor the legacy of the revolutionary leader.
The evening was marked by the emotional evocation of the life and ideals of Fidel. Passionate words and shared moments recalled his tireless fight for social justice, equality and fraternity, as well as his imposing figure. The active participation of all those present reflected the validity of his legacy, inspiring them to keep them alive and continue defending them.
