Today, a film showcase dedicated to Cuba’s stories of solidarity was inaugurated at the Doğan Taşdelen Contemporary Arts Center in Ankara, with the participation of the Ambassador of Cuba to Türkiye, Alejandro Díaz Palacios, Counselor Oscar Redondo Ramos, and the President of the Cuba–Türkiye Friendship Association, Nahide Özcan.
The initiative, organized by NHKM Ankara, the Çankaya Municipality, and the José Martí Cuba Friendship Association, brings together friends of Cuba, representatives of solidarity organizations, and the general public to learn, through cinema, about experiences that reflect the spirit of cooperation and internationalism that has long characterized the Cuban people.
Six films will be screened on June 19 and 20, with all proceeds going to the “Collecting Sunshine for Cuba” campaign, as a new expression of support and solidarity with Cuba.
