The First Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Health of Cuba, Dr. Tania Margarita Cruz Hernandez is participating in the IX Turkish World Medical Congress in Istanbul, dedicated to Artificial Intelligence in Health, as part of the celebrations for the centenary of the Republic of Türkiye.

President of the Turkish Institutes of Health; Prof. Dr. Burcu YÜCEL - Vice President of the Turkish Cancer Institute; Prof. Dr. Rabia ÇAKIR KOÇ - President of the Turkish Biotechnology Institute; Arif ÇETİN - Deputy Director General for European Union and Foreign Relations of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Turkey). The meeting was also attended by Alejandro Diaz Palacios, Cuban Ambassador to Turkey.
They discussed the strengthening of cooperation in the field of health and the intention to enhance the exchange between medical universities of both countries.
In the context of the IX Turkish World Medical Congress, the bilateral cooperation in the health sector between Cuba and Türkiye was recognized. The award was received by the First Deputy Minister of Health, Dr. Tania Margarita Cruz Hernandez.
