First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs begins Working Visit to China, Vietnam, and Laos

Vientiane, July 20, 2025. The Cuban Foreign Ministry announces that the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Cuba, Gerardo Peñalver Portal, begins today a working visit to China, Vietnam, and Laos, which will extend until July 25, with the purpose of holding rounds of Inter-Ministry Political Consultations with these sister nations.

During his stay in the three Asian countries, he will meet with senior officials from the Ministries of Foreign Affairs and parliaments, as well as with representatives of the party structures responsible for international relations, and other sectors that play a significant role in relations with Cuba.
