The First Vice Minister of MINREX makes an official visit to Zimbabwe

The First Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs of Cuba, Marcelino Medina González, made an official visit to Zimbabwe from September 5 to 7, as part of his tour of Southern Africa. During his visit he held meetings with Zimbabwe's Vice President Kembo Mohadi, the President of Parliament Adv. Jacob Mudenda, his equivalent in the Zimbabwean Foreign Ministry, Amb. James Manzou, Minister of Health Obadiah Moyo and the Minister of Youth, Sports, Arts and Recreation, the Olympic multi-medalist Kirstry Coventry. The Cuban diplomat exchanged with his hosts on issues of common interest of the bilateral agenda and the international scene, taking into account the fraternal ties with Africa. Cuba enjoys prestige in Africa for its selfless contribution to the struggles for the independence and sovereignty of African nations and for development.
