Foreign Minister of Jamaica calls for an end to the blockade and the removal of Cuba from the list of state sponsors of terrorism.

New York, 27 September 2024. Jamaica's Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade Kamina Johnson Smith, while addressing the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) stated: ´(...)Jamaica therefore, again, joins the call for the discontinuation of the crippling economic, commercial and financial embargo against our closest Caribbean neighbour, Cuba.
