Kingston, Jamaica. November 20th, 2017. Cuban Ambassador, Inés Fors Fernández, held a cordial meeting with former Prime Minister of Jamaica, Percival James Patterson, as part of the courtesy visits following her official accreditation to this Caribbean nation.
During the exchange, P. J. Patterson acknowledged the strong ties of friendship with Cuba, recalled key moments of the bilaterales between the Greater of the Antilles and Jamaica, and mentioned the trascendence the Historial Leader of the Revolution, Fidel Castro Ruz, awarded to those ties. Patterson also highlighted the historical relations between both peoples and the work carried out by the People's National Party, that inherited the lineage of Michael Manley, in the strengthening of relations with Cuba.
