French Ambassador to Kenya thanks the work of Cuban doctors

Nairobi, May 15. The Ambassador of the French Republic in Kenya, H.E. Mrs. Aline Kuster-Menager, sent today a letter to the Embassy of Cuba in this African country, thanking the work carried out by Cuban doctors Adriana Ramírez Martínez and Milagros Sierra Sotelo, who contributed decisively to saving the life of a French patient sick with Covid-19.

The French diplomat, in her letter addressed to the Cuban Ambassador in Nairobi, recognizes "the high professional quality of the doctors, which honors Cuban Medicine" and asks that the Cuban specialists be thanked for their decisive action.

Dr. Adriana, from Camagüey and specialist in Intensive Care; and Dr. Milagros, from Santiago de Cuba, and a specialist in Comprehensive General Medicine, are part of the Cuban Medical Brigade that arrived in Kenya in June 2018, based on a cooperation agreement signed between the two Ministries of Health.

Adriana and Milagros work at the Msambweni Hospital in Kwale County, which is located more than 400 km from Nairobi, the capital of Kenya, and are a living example of the human quality and professional training of Cuban doctors.
