On the podcast of The Bubb Report program, broadcast live on Sundays, Cuba's friend Dr. Bert Braithwaite made a statement in which he denounced the policy of suffocation against Cuba and recognized our country's solidarity work in different countries, including Grenada.
Dr. Bert referred to Cuba's participation in the independence processes in Africa and its contribution to ending apartheid on the continent. He emphasized that Cuba played a crucial role in combating the Ebola epidemic in West Africa in 2014 and later, during the Covid-19 pandemic, medical brigades were sent to many countries, including Grenada. Braithwaite noted that more than 300 Grenadians have graduated from university studies in Cuba in various sectors, mainly health.
He condemned the hostile policy of the US government and its unjustified blockade against the island, which has now been extended to prevent fuel from entering the country.
