Organized by the Auckland group of the New Zealand-Cuba Friendship Society, in coordination with the Cuban Embassy, ​​on Saturday, July 25, the photographic exhibition "Cuba through kiwi eyes" was inaugurated at the Ellen Melville Center of that city. Next, a public meeting was held, in which the Ambassador and the First Secretary, Dalila Vázquez, thanked the solidarity towards the island and updated those present on the situation in Cuba and the effects of the blockade.

Both events were widely attended and ratified the solidarity towards the Cuban people of New Zealanders and Latin American emigrants residing.
