Cairo, May 6, 2025. Vietnamese Ambassador to Cairo, Nguyen Huy Dung, received his Cuban counterpart, Alexander Pellicer Moraga, at the Vietnamese Embassy in this capital.
The ambassadors exchanged on the historic and fraternal relations between the two countries, as well as on the comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Cuba that has been developed and strengthened in various fields over the years, including close coordination and mutual support between the two sides in regional and international multilateral forums.
They also discussed the political, economic and social situation of their respective countries, particularly the activities developed in Egypt.
Pellicer emphasized that despite the many difficulties caused by the strong blockade imposed by the United States, the Cuban people continue to support the government and its socialist system.
At the end of the meeting, both ambassadors agreed to strengthen close coordination between the two embassies in the coming period. (Embacuba Egipto)
