Nairobi, March 25. Representatives of the Association of Kenyan Graduates in Cuba and of the Kenya-Cuba Friendship Society participated on Saturday 25 March at the Cuban Diplomatic Mission in Nairobi in an activity of solidarity with the Caribbean Island.
With sincere words, representatives of young Kenyans who became professionals in Cuban universities thanked the possibility that our country offered them and ratified their unwavering solidarity with Cuba. In another moment of the emotional encounter, the friends reiterated their rejection to the blockade imposed by the United States against Cuba.
Addressing those present at the event, the Cuban Ambassador to Kenya, Ernesto Gómez Díaz, thanked the permanent solidarity of the Kenyans to Cuba and explained to them aspects of the progress of the process of updating the economic and social model of the Revolution. He also urged them to participate in the International Brigades organize by ICAP and in the V Continental Meeting of Solidarity with Cuba to be held soon in Namibia.
