Abuja, September 21, 2023.- The Cuban ambassador to Nigeria, Miriam Morales Palmero, was received at the headquarters of the Nigerian Labor Congress (NLC) by the President of this important union organization, Mr. Joe Ajearo and its Permanent Secretary, Emma Ugboaja.
The permanent secretary took the opportunity to welcome Ambassador Miriam Morales back to the organization's headquarters, which he described as Cuba's second home.
The moment was favourable to address issues of common interest, and they also discussed regional and international current events. During it, topics were discussed regarding the role of solidarity with Cuba in Nigeria and the actions that would be taken in the future regarding the continuation of the fight to end the inhuman blockade against the Island. The exchange took place in a cordial atmosphere, reflecting of the special friendly relations between this union and Cuba.
The Third Secretary, Ana Flavia Gómez Pavot, was also present on the Cuban side.
