Oslo, October 30, 2025. Yesterday, coinciding with the voting at the United Nations General Assembly on the draft resolution entitled “Necessity of ending the economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed by the United States of America against Cuba”, which was finally approved by an overwhelming majority of the member States, a group of friends gathered in the 7th of June Square, located just in front of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, to condemn the implementation and strenghtening of that unjust and criminal policy.
It was a suitable occasion to express full support and solidarity with the Cuban people in its struggle against the US blockade and also in the process of recovering from the damage caused by Hurricane Melissa in the eastern provinces of the country. (Embassy of Cuba in Norway)
