The Humanistic Solidarity Association (Saint Lucia - Cuba) issued a Communique in which they celebrate the 93rd Anniversary of the birth of the historic leader of the Cuban Revolution, Fidel Castro. The text highlights the indisputable leadership and example of Fidel not only in Cuba, but rather in Latin America and the region. It points out the prominent social, human values and values of solidarity which the Cuban Revolution has shown, guided by the ideals of Fidel and his work in favor of the people and the benefits in fundamental aspects such as health and education. The Humanistic Solidarity Association (Saint Lucia - Cuba) remembers that today the Blockade imposed by the United States against Cuba remains in force and intensified and the Association calls for its total elimination. The declaration from our friends in Saint Lucia ends by confirming their friendship with their Cuban brothers and sisters, as per the saying of our Commander in Chief "Homeland or Death: we shall overcome".
