To demonstrate the admiration for the Cuban Revolution, more than a thousand friends from all over the planet will participate with Cubans in the parade for the 1st. de Mayo in Revolution Square in Havana, with the purpose of raising their voice against the economic, commercial and financial blockade of the United States.
They represent more than 200 organizations around the world, such as unions, social movements, political parties, student associations, religious groups and others, from 60 countries, according to what Ismael Drullet Pérez, a member of the Secretariat of the Central of Workers of Cuba, told Granma. .
Among them are about 140 from 15 countries that make up the 15th. International Brigade of Solidarity and Voluntary Work First of May, and another 35 from Ernesto Che Guevara, who arrived from Canada.
The visitors will make tours of different institutions to share with the workers, visits to communities and other places of interest, to learn about the Cuban reality and deny discrediting media campaigns against the Revolution.
