After being received in the early hours of the morning by the First Vice Minister and Minister of Finance of Lao PDR, the Minister of Foreign Trade and Foreign Investment of Cuba, Cro. Rodrigo Malmierca Díaz, along with his delegation, was received by Minister a.i. of Industry and Commerce, the Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Forestry and the Minister of Planning and Investments.
The meeting at the Lao National Chamber of Commerce and Industry was also very helpful, in addition to its President, it was attended by a large group of businessmen with business interests with Cuba.
The invitation that Minister Malmierca made to participate in the International Fair of Havana was very well received by all.
In each and every one of the meetings, the will to increase economic ties between both countries was reiterated by both parties.
The Delegation culminated its visit today and departed a few minutes ago towards its next destination, Vietnam.
