Gathering with Ugandan female leaders

Kampala. On the afternoon of December 10, Cuban Ambassador Tania Perez Xiques was welcomed by a group of leaders of Ugandan women's organizations headed by Thelma Owori, Honorary Consul of Liberia in Kampala and the Women for Peace Organization, on the occasion of the end of her diplomatic mission in that country.

The possibility of having a broad representation of organizations and generations allowed for discussion on results and challenges in the empowerment of women in our societies.

Also participating were the outgoing High Commissioner of South Africa and the Ambassadors of Venezuela and Ethiopia accredited in Uganda.
