The General of the Army, Raul Castro Ruz, First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Cuban Communist Party, received the President of the Republic of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo. During the cordial meeting, they recalled the historic ties with Africa, and they noted that Ghana was the first sub-Saharan African country to establish diplomatic relations with Cuba, after the triumph of the Revolution. The distinguished visitor was accompanied by the Minister of Education, Matthew Opoku-Prempeh, and the Ambassador Napoleon Abdulai. On the Cuban side participated the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla.
