Zandvoort, December 11, 2022. The Cantoro Choir, directed by the Cuban musician living in the Netherlands, Jorge Martínez Galán, performed at the “De Krocht” Theater in this city, to celebrate the twentieth anniversary of the creation of said group. .
The meaning of Coro Cantoro is “to sing from the heart” and in this evening of celebration a repertoire of classic Cuban songs such as “Lágrimas Negras”, “Sun Sun Paloma”, “Rico Vacilón” and other Latin American songs such as “Amalia Rosa” was recreated from Venezuela, “Reyes Magos” from Argentina and several Christmas melodies that evoked peace and unity among peoples.
Cuban musicians Ariel Bridón, Gilberto Quevedo and Pedro Luis Pardo appeared as guests. The Consul General of Cuba, Lourdes Escobar, attended.
