Oslo, November 30, 2022. The Governing Mayor of Oslo, Raymond Johansen, who is a member of the Labour Party, gave a warm welcome to the Cuban ambassador to Norway, Maité Rivero Torres, in his office in the City Hall.
Both parties exchanged about the governance system existing in Oslo and the current main lines of the work of the City Government, an executive body made up of the Governor and eight Vice Mayors.
The diplomat expressed her interest in jointly identifying possible areas for the development of relations of cooperation between Cuba, particularly Havana city, and the Norwegian capital.
The Governing Mayor was accompanied by Mari Eike Nilsen, one of his advisers. Daffne Ernesto Mirabal García, second secretary, participated also in the meeting along withe the Ambassador. (Embassy of Cuba in Norway)
