Wellington, September 17th, 2018. As part of the Latin America and Spain Film Festival (LASFF, for its acronym in English), the screening of the Cuban film "The Roof" took place at the University of Auckland.
The local public fully enjoyed the movie. At the end of the screening an interesting exchange was generated about the Cuban reality, its customs and traditions.
On behalf of the Embassy of Cuba, the third secretary Saimin Fis Abad attended, she presented the Cuban film and participated actively in the exchange with the audience, addressing a wide variety of issues about her country, including the development of the cinematographic industry.
LASFF was inaugurated in early September in Wellington, which marked the beginning of a cultural tour that will last until the first days of December and will cover a total of 12 cities in New Zealand. The Cuban film will open the exhibition in the cities of Palmerston North and Taupo. (EmbaCuba NZ).
