GREECE CELEBRATES ITS NATIONAL HOLIDAY

Various activities were held in Greece on March 25th to celebrate its National Day. In Athens, two important events began with the Te Deum, held at the Metropolitan Cathedral, which, as usual, was led by Archbishop Ieronymos II of Athens and All Greece.
Afterwards, a military parade took place in Syntagma Square, next to the iconic Parliament building and in front of the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.
Both activities were presided over by the newly elected President of the Hellenic Republic, His Excellency Constantine Tassolulas, and were attended by other high-ranking officials and the country's top military commanders, as well as members of the diplomatic corps accredited to Greece.
