Greek solidarity friend Yannis Giokas, member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Greece (KKE), member of the Hellenic Parliament for his party and Secretary General of the Parliamentary Group of Friendship with Cuba in the Hellenic Parliament, sent a message of solidarity to the Cuban people condemning the unjust economic, commercial and financial blockade of the United States against Cuba, on behalf of his party and the parliamentary group of friendship with Cuba in the Hellenic Parliament.
The message was released within the framework of the parliamentary hearing for the lifting of the blockade. "Cuba in the face of two pandemics", as this meeting was named, convened by the International Relations, Constitutional and Legal Affairs, and Health and Sports commissions of the National Assembly of People's Power (ANPP) of Cuba that was held on Friday 28 of May 2021.
