Cuban diplomats, along with collaborators and residents in Namibia, joined the Venezuelan Embassy in this country in an act of support for the Bolivarian people and government and in rejection of the United States military deployment on the coasts of that sister nation, which contradicts the designation of Latin America and the Caribbean as a Zone of Peace.
Loyalty and support for the Bolivarian Revolution and its president, Nicolás Maduro, were the hallmarks of Cubans in Namibia during a day dedicated to peace, self-determination, and the sovereignty of Venezuela.
The peoples of Martí and Bolívar reject Yankee interventionism and strongly condemn the act of blatant piracy committed by the United States government in illegally seizing and confiscating a Venezuelan oil tanker in the Caribbean Sea, an act that constitutes a grave violation of international law and a direct attack on the sovereignty of this sister nation.
Hands off Venezuela!
Venezuela is not a threat, it is a hope!
