High-ranking diplomat of the Cuban Foreign Ministry denounces new political operation in CBS report
Vientiane, April 2024. Johana Tablada, Deputy Director General of the United States of the Cuban Foreign Ministry, denounced the new political operation launched through a CBS report on alleged sonic attacks against the United States.
She said that Cuba is very concerned about the fact that CBS considers that the public does not have the right to know, in material that is supposedly relevant, that there are solid scientific reports, commissioned by the government of Donald Trump, which shelved it for two years (...)."
At another moment, She stressed that to revive that fabricated incident is to try to present #Cuba as the threat that it is not, it is to try to justify the measures of maximum pressure and asphyxiation against the Cuban economy (...)".
This alleged incident, She said, leads to questions about who is interested in continuing to talk about a story that is a fiction.
