The women's staff of the Embassy of Cuba in Ghana was honored by its masculine couple on the occasion of the 58th Anniversary of the founding of the Cuban Women Federation (FMC).
The Ambassador Pedro Luis Despaigne González acknowledged the contribution of the federated women to the work of the Mission, especially for their dedication and thoroughness in carrying out the tasks.
All recalled that under the guidance of the historical leader of the Cuban Revolution, Commander in Chief Fidel Castro, and the eternal President of the FMC, Vilma Espín Guillois, that August 23rd, 1960, marked the beginning of a Revolution within the Revolution, which has among its fruits the majority and decisive role of women in sectors such as Education, Health and Science.
The Embassy of Cuba also wishes to convey its congratulations to all the members of the FMC in their day.
