Honor to whom it is due: Work of Cuban Ophthalmologists in Saint Lucia

Castries, September 24, 2025 – Saint Lucia's MBC television channel presented a video praising the Ophthalmology Clinic where Cuban collaborators work.

A Cuban businessman was able to recover his vision after a chlorine accident thanks to the prompt action of rinsing with water at the time and thanks to treatment by Dr. Manuel Alonso Montalvan.

Eight collaborators from various specialties are working on Operation Miracle on the island, with recognition from the population and authorities of the Ministry of Health of the sister Caribbean nation.
