The delegation of the Cuban Institute of Friendship with the Peoples (ICAP) holds a meeting with representatives of the Movement of Solidarity with Cuba in Copenhagen, Denmark, with the participation of Cuban residents.
The delegation made up of the Director of Europe, Rigoberto Zarza Ross, and Elizabeth Ribalta Rubiera, specialist of the Euronorte Group, in their dialogue with the audience, addressed the impact of the US criminal policy, the hostility sustained in the worst conditions of the pandemic , the pressures to strangle our development, the purposes of linking us to terrorism, the media and communication war, for the misinformation and destabilization of the country; and other current issues in Cuba close to the elections, at a time when the nation is also immersed in the work of economic recovery.
The representatives of (ICAP), accompanied by the President of the Friendship Association, Sven Erik, were received earlier in the afternoon by Trine Bertou, member of the Danish Parliament, for Unitary List, and Foreign Spokesperson for her party.
The meeting with the Danish parliamentarian made it possible to address various aspects of interest regarding the national and international situation of Cuba, with a broad agreement on the need to end the blockade, and the removal of Cuba from the absurd list of State sponsors of terrorism.
The visitors from the Greater Antilles began their visit to Denmark in the city of Odense, on the Island of Fym, where they were received by Vice Mayor Andreas Moller.
The visit to this Nordic country is part of a tour that included Sweden and Norway; and that will culminate in Finland, where they will hold various political and diplomatic exchanges.
