Oslo, February 26, 2025. Fernando González Llort, President of the Cuban Institute of Friendship with the Peoples (ICAP), sent a letter to the Norway-Cuba Friendship Association thanking the shows of affection and support for Cuba in the wake of the hurricanes and earthquakes that hit the Island in October and November 2024.
“This aid demonstrates, once again, that our people are never alone in the face of adversity and that international solidarity and cooperation are essential principles of the relations among nations and the most effective way of contributing to sustainable development and the well-being of the population”, wrote ICAP´s President.
The letter ends reiterating the gratitude and the firm willingness to continue strengthening the ties between ICAP and the Norway-Cuba Friendship Association. (Embassy of Cuba in Norway)
