Jakarta, June 02- At the end of the 32nd Southeast Asian Games 2023, the Indonesian National Boxing team, led by the Cuban boxing coach, Bárbaro Fernández Jiménez, managed to close with 8 medals.
With healthy pride in the historic sports collaboration between Cuba and Indonesia, the Cuban boxing collaborator informed the Cuban Embassy in this country that the team demonstrated exceptional dedication, rigorous technical preparation and unwavering determination in each competition, which allowed it to reach outstanding achievements, which included 5 silver and 3 bronze medals.
In this regard, he pointed out that the Indonesian national boxing team will continue to pursue excellence in the following Games, while stressing that with its outstanding technical preparation, backed by the unwavering support of coaches, referees and press reporters, we are sure that that the team will continue to leave an indelible mark on the sport of boxing in the region.
