Jakarta, May 2- The Bahasa-language newspaper, Independent Republic, published an article highlighting the attendance of friends in Indonesia at the International Virtual Meeting of Solidarity with Cuba, organized by the Cuban Institute of Friendship with the Peoples (ICAP) and the Central de Trabajadores de Cuba (CTC), from April 30 to May 1 in commemoration of International Labor Day.
The Indonesian journalist and President of the Indonesian Cyber Media Network, Teguh Santosa, at the beginning of his message, conveyed congratulations to the Cuban people and Government on the occasion of the International Labor Day and for their battle against covid 19. However, he added that “even in the midst of the current Pandemic, the world is witnessing the arrogance of certain parties that feel they have the power and the right to impose it on those which they consider are weak."Therefore, on the occasion of the International Labor Day, together with the Cuban people, I demand the United States Government to end the criminal, mortal and unjustified, economic, comercial and financial blockade against Cuba. I believe it is the time for the United States to change the mentality, perspective and move forward to develop positive relations with the rest of the world, including Cuba. Long live Cuba!, Long live International Solidarity!”. "Teguh said.
