Wellington, October 5. The Cuban film "Inocencia" was presented at the Latin America and Spain Film Festival (LASFF), which has been taking place in 9 cities in New Zealand since October 1.
The Cuban Ambassador, when making the presentation to a large audience, made mention of the 62nd anniversary of the Cuban Institute of Cinematographic Art and Industry (ICAIC) and its importance for Cuban and Latin American cinema.
Organized by the embassies of Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Cuba, Mexico, Peru, and Spain, the festival provides an opportunity for local audiences to get closer to our cinema and our realities.
On November 13, Ambassador Edgardo Valdés will be inaugurating the festival in the city of Palmerston North, along with the Mayor of the city, H.W Grant Smith.
