The Cuba-Türkiye José Martí Solidarity Association together with the Cuban Embassy carried out several activities to commemorate another anniversary of the assaults on the Moncada Barracks in Santiago de Cuba and Carlos Manuel de Céspedes Barracks in Bayamo on July 26, 1953.
Talks were held in several cities on the events that took place on this date and their significance in achieving the definitive victory of the Cuban Revolution on January 1, 1959.
Activities were held in Ankara, Istanbul, Eskişehir and Antalya, each of them also condemning the U.S. blockade against Cuba and the inclusion of our country in the list of countries that allegedly sponsor terrorism.
In the city of Ankara, the meetings were attended by Yorliet Díaz Suárez on behalf of the Cuban Embassy, who gave an update on the current Cuban situation.
