Abuja, January 22, 2024.-The Cuban ambassador to Nigeria Miriam Morales Palmero participated in the International Centenary Conference on the Passage of Vladimir Ilich Lenin.
The event was chaired by the president of the Society for International Relations Awareness (SIRA) and member of the Solidarity Movement with Cuba, Comrade Owei Lakemfa. During the event, members of the diplomatic corps from Venezuela, Palestine, Russia, Ghana were present, as well as members of the Nigerian trade union movement, representatives of the intellectual sector, university students and members of the communist parties in the region.
As part of her intervention, Ambassador Miriam Morales Palmero thanked them for their invitation and ratified the socialist character of our Revolution. She reiterated socialism as the only possible solution to the serious problems facing humanity, and for us Cubans the only way to continue honoring the teachings of Martí, Lenin and Fidel.
Third Secretary Ana Flavia Gómez Pavot was also present on the Cuban side.
