Jakarta, May 14.- The Jakarta Post newspaper, with widely audience in Indonesia, referring to an AFP article, to the recent decision of the Trump´s Administration to include Cuba on the black list of countries that do not collaborate in the fight against terrorism.
Through its digital edition, in English, highlights that the increase in pressure from Washington on Havana was evident just one day after Cuba urged a terrorism probe over gunfire that hit its embassy in the US capital.
The published text cites statements by the cuban foreign minister, Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla, urging an exhaustive investigation from Washington on the links between the attacker and people or groups who support the current US administration and are inciting hatred and violence against Cuba, paraphrasing the Foreign Minister: "If there was hatred in Alazo's actions, it was hatred induced by the aggressive language of the American administration.
Likewise, the newspaper underline that in 2015 the Obama Administration had excluded Cuba from the list of sponsors of terrorism, while the current Government has been trying to include it again, so this is considered that the step is the latest by Trump to increase pressure on Cuba and move away from the reconciliation efforts undertaken by his predecessor, Barack Obama.
