Kingston, Jamaica, 19 April 2021. Today, when another anniversary of the victory of the Cuban people over the imperialist and mercenary invasion to Playa Girón is commemorated, the Jamaica Peace Council posted the following allegorical message:
"Today marks the 60th anniversary of the failed invasion of United States mercenaries at Playa Girón, Cuba. Despite this and many other attacks that have been carefully documented, the Cuban Revolution remains strong and stands out as a beacon for the world of what a government should be and do for its people "
Long live Cuba!
This April 19, Cuba not only remembers Playa Girón events, but also 60th anniversary of Fidel Castro’s proclamation of the socialist nature of the Cuban Revolution.
