Jamaica present at the Congress "University 2024"

Kingston, 9 February 2024. A delegation from the University of Technology of Jamaica (UTech) participated in the sessions of the XIV International Congress on Higher Education "University 2024", which took place at the Havana Convention Palace from February 5-9.

During the event, Maria Nela Cabrales, a Cuban resident in Jamaica, intervened in the presentation of the work entitled "The linguistic-cultural experience of Cuban teachers working in the Jamaican education system". This presentation will contribute to improving the preparation of Cuban educators who work in the sister Caribbean nation as part of the existing cooperation programme between the two governments.
