Kingston, Jamaica, 4 November 2019. William James Charles Hutchinson, Minister without portfolio of the Ministry of Industry, Commerce, Agriculture and Fisheries of Jamaica leads the delegation of his country participating in the International Fair of Havana (FIHAV) 2019, which will take place in the Cuban capital from 4 to 8 November.
The Jamaican minister is accompanied by executives and officials from the Agency for the Promotion of Trade and Investment of Jamaica (JAMPRO) and representatives of companies of the Caribbean nation.
Cuba and Jamaica are moving forward in the development of their trade realtions. With that purpose, the Fair becomes an ideal platform for companies from one and other country to continue to identify reciprocal potential for exchange in this sector.
More than four thousand representatives from about 60 countries attend the 37th edition of the International Fair of Havana. The Single Window of Foreign Trade will be presented within the framework of the Fair, an initiative that will allow computerization and simplification of procedures related to the country's imports and exports. Likewise, it has been scheduled the inauguration of the Fourth Investment Forum, the launch of the 2019-2020 Portfolio of Opportunities, and the presentation of the 2020-2021 Cuban Trade Directory.
