A Jamaican delegation visits the Cuban Parlament headquarters.

Havana, Cuba, 31 October 2019. Deputy Rolando González Patricio, Vice president of the International Relations Commission of the National Assembly of People's Power (ANPP) received, on Thursday afternoon, a delegation from the People's National Party (PNP) of Jamaica, headed by its President Dr. Peter David Phillips.

During the meeting, which took place at the National Capitol, the institutional headquarters of the highest State body, both parties acknowledged the good state of relations between the two countries and discussed current international issues.

Gonzalez Patricio updated visitors about the work carried out by the ANPP, and referred particularly to the constitutional amendment process and the legislative duties derived from its approval.

For their part, the PNP members, who travelled to our country to participate in the Anti-Imperialist Meeting of Solidarity, for Democracy and against Neoliberalism, expressed their concern about the aggressive measures taken by the US government against the Greates Island of the Antilles.
