Jamaican Solidarity Movement reiterates its support for our country

Kingston, 15 January 2026. Ambassador-designate Tania López Larroque held a meeting on Thursday afternoon with members of the Movement of Solidarity with Cuba in Jamaica.

The participants reiterated their full support for our country in these turbulent times for the region following the offensive by US imperialism. They condemned the genocidal blockade policy and Cuba's continued inclusion on the spurious list of state sponsors of terrorism.

For her part, the Cuban diplomat thanked the Jamaican friends for their unwavering support over the years. She reaffirmed the island's commitment to solidarity with its sister nations in the Caribbean, remaining faithful to the legacy of Commander-in-Chief Fidel Castro.
