Jazz Night highlights cultural ties between Cuba and the U.S.

To the rhythm of the Guantanamera, Cubans and friends of the island in Washington D.C. exchanged about the cultural riches of the Caribbean nation. 
The evening featured the main performance of the outstanding Cuban singer Melvis Santana, who delighted the audience with a wide repertoire.
During the event, held at the Cuban Embassy in the United States, participants emphasized that culture is a close link between the two countries. 
The event, organized in conjunction with DC Jazz Plaza, allowed those present to enjoy the points of contact between the musical genres of Cuba and the United States. 
Santana, showed not only the cultural greatness of his nation, but also the influence that the Blues has received in the years that he has been residing in the U.S.
